Our university is part of the eTwinning initiative for institutions that train future teachers and carries out international projects with universities abroad with its students. The next project will be carried out with the University of Copenhagen and the University of Zagreb.
In 2012, eTwinning launched a pilot initiative involving teacher training institutions from several European countries. The aim was to provide students preparing to work in schools with knowledge about modern education with ICT and the implementation of eTwinning projects. In 2019, a special type of account was set up on the platform, allowing them to use the eTwinning tools and carry out student projects.
The University of Lower Silesia DSW joined the community of European institutions training future teachers and implementing eTwinning projects in 2017. For years, we have been encouraging and mobilising students for the projects and professional development offered within the programme.
